IMPA and IALA have recently renewed their MoU

IMPA and IALA have recently renewed their cooperation with an updated Memorandum of Understanding. The update is in response to IALA’s transition to an inter-governmental organisation – the International Organization for Marine Aids to Navigation - earlier this year. The purpose of the MoU remains to maintain and enhance the partnership, cooperation, and open and constructive dialogue between the two organisations and their memberships to promote maritime and navigational safety.

IMPA wishes IALA every success with its first General Assembly as an inter-governmental organisation in February 2025 and looks forward to continuing to participate in the organization's technical work programme.
